It makes no sense

Image
It makes no sense when ... You fall asleep in front of the tellie for half an hour then crawl into bed and then not be able to sleep. The radar beam of moonlight might explain it ... A completely random picture showing the pretty sparkles of light cast by my crystal birds when the sun drops onto them.

I've been clever

I spent the weekend making a sleeve for an iPad. Yup we own one of those gadgets. Currently I can say that they serve well as an alarm clock, radio, gaming platform, navigator, and iView/news veiwer. Apparently we needed a new one of each of them. All good, I'm actually quite impressed with the gadget. We went shopping for a cover for it and decided that they were either ugly or expensive and the question was posed of 'You could make one couldn't you?' ... 'Sure...' I went for a bit of a tootle on the bike about a month and a half ago and ended up, yup again, stationary at a set of traffic lights surrounded by B-doubles and feeling ... well really really small. I've not yet over come the instinct to look around and catch glimpses of me and my bike in the shiney bits of trucks (like their fuel tanks) as she is still only new and my looking around and glances up at the rather large B-Double that pulled up next to me (the mental thought at the time was 'you just stay there mate') when the driver leaned on the window and called down to me 'rather pleased with he...
